First Day Of Spring In West Virginia – Snowstorm?

Yes indeed, we got ourselves a pretty good nor’easter bringing in multiple inches (feet) of snow for the first day of spring 2018. At 5am this morning it was starting in the Eastern Panhandle and by noon it had accumulated over six inches. As the sun was setting it was well over ten inches.. with another day of snow headed this way.

Snow accumulating in the Eastern Panhandle of West Virginia on the first day of spring.

This is not the way spring is suppose to begin.. and we have another ten hours of snow on it’s way. Heavy and wet so be careful of the snowstorm ‘heart attack’ when your shoveling. Great snow for making snowmen or tossing snowballs. Not good for going anywhere anytime soon.. so enjoy!
